A Minecraft server running the latest release or snapshot, depending on which is most up to date. A snapshot is a beta version of Minecraft that contains features that will be released in the next major update. They can be enabled in the Minecraft launcher. By running a snapshot server, we can let players experience the next major update’s features without having to wait for the update’s release date, whatever that may be.
